Vinicius Parisi
Graduated in Industrial Design from Mackenzie Presbyterian University, Vinicius bases his production on dialogues between figurative painting and matter, transitioning through object, sculpture, and drawing languages. The exploration and choice of materials, mainly wood as a support, demonstrates the importance they play in the artists research and how their sensory and manipulation peculiarities interfere with the perception of each work.
The use of human figure and form as a vehicle of contact in his practice suggests the integration of the observer with the virtuality of representation and the intervention in matter, proposing the transformation of the object and its manipulator. Influenced to this day in his works by processes and materials commonly used in the manufacturing and painting of surfboards, where he began his first artistic experiments.
The artist has had his works in individual and collective exhibitions in Brazil and abroad, including an honorable mention at the Levino Fanzeres Arts Salon (2022), an individual exhibition at Luis Maluf Gallery (2022), and participation in fairs such as Art Palm Beach, SP-Arte, and ArtRio.
