Cedric Sequerra

Cedric Sequerra, also known as SQRA (seh-keh-rah), is renowned for his fine art photography and limited edition pop art depicting the cultural collectibles of the modern age.

Born in Montreal in 1989, Sequerra has always been fascinated by the arts. In his teenage years and 20s, he worked as a brand consultant, graphic designer, video producer, director, videographer, photographer, tech entrepreneur, and artist.

Today, he travels the globe to photograph unique collections and transform them into large-format works of art. His process involves meeting real collectors with rare or eclectic collections that can be captured in-camera to create what he calls “pop culture time capsules.”

Being a collector himself, Sequerra understands the lifelong pursuit of elusive items and the passion held by collector communities. These collections often sit tucked away in boxes, basements, attics, or garages. Rather than being seen by only a select few, the collector’s journey is preserved and shared through his meticulous research and documentation.

Whether it’s books, movies, toys, food, or sports memorabilia, every collection tells a story.
